Kids Hunting For A Cure (KHFAC) is a none profit organization which provides financial support to research Hospitals/Foundations dedicated to developing cures for cancer and childhood diseases . KHFAC had a booth at the Maine Sportmans Show this year.. My son Devin begged me all day long at the show to volunteer and help a less fortunate kid try and get a turkey ...so i did, and i tell ya what, we had a blast... I met several men and women that volunteered there time to the kids as well..i believe there was 18 kids in all.. i had 2 young men because a volunteer could not make it Saturday morning .. i will find out how many birds they got ... IF YOU WANNA LAUGH JUST TAKE A KID HUNTING !!! KIDS AND TURKEY CALL'S ='s then you add a gun I'd do it again in a heart beat ...will have the wife post pics later

Re: youth turkey day!!!
Took youngest son Saturday everything was just like the turkey was in on the
planning until nerves got the better of the shooter, clean miss.
Thursday took 14 year old I had no gun, no call told him it was all him
1 1/2 hours later turkey came in with no clue and like his brother
nerves kick in an what was going to be a 15 yard shot was taken at
the first opportunity wich was 40+ clean miss.
Took a friend today and finally finished one.

Re: youth turkey day!!!
Gave my 14 year old a ride saturday to a bird he roosted Friday
never even took the call out of my pocket.
He called it into 20 yds and finished the job this time.
Just got to sit and watch the show.
