chick starter

my 2.5 yr old male beagle decided to dive head first into a bag of chick starter (medicated chicken feed) yesterday and take 2 or 3 big ol mouth fulls...well ask of today hes realizing that stuff DOES NOT settle well in his stomach. poor boy as a water hose for an a$$. the vet said he will be fine so back out to the kennel he goes, fresh water and a bowl of food to eat when he feels better.

Note to self don't turn your back to a hound while feeding chickens.

He acted fine, the medication caused him to have really runny stools for a day or two but all was fine. i checked with the and she kinda giggled when i told her about this. She wasn't worried about it..... The thing that i find weird is that when he hits a hot track he almost sounds like a rooster now lol.
