DC 50 will not connect to friends 320 but did mine?

Have a new DC 50 that connected to my 320 but my hunting buddy cannot get it to connect to his 320. Any thoughts?
And no I do not have a lockout pin number.....Thanks

Has he updated his 320 for the dc50?

I doubt his 320 has ever been updated and thanks, I will do that for him and give it a try. I update mine on occasion but didn't know you had to specifically for the 50 collar, or does it do it automatically?

one of the updates is so the 320 can track the dc50,with out the update u cant track a dc50 collar.But when u update it will work.

Garmin collars, and handhelds need to be updated frequently. If you have a dc 40 you lose quick I would try an upgrade. Its kinda like a German talking to an Arab. Neither will understand each other much.
