SAM to be on the VOICE OF MAINE
Dear SAM Members:

David Trahan, the executive director of SAM will be on the Voice of Maine (101.3 FM) beginning at 7:04am tomorrow, Wednesday, August 14th.

We were told last week by faithful members that the Ric Tyler and George Hale Show had a proponent for the bear referendum on and didn't have anyone to represent our side, opposing the referendum.

David will be Ric and George's call-in guest at 7:04am tomorrow morning to discuss the upcoming bear referendum and inform listeners of the most up-to-date bear statistics in Maine.

Please tune in tomorrow to hear about the new Maine Wildlife Conservation Council and the effort to oppose the upcoming bear referendum.

Did u read in the bangor daily outdoor article the other day about Quimby's son helping on our side of this fight?

I haven't hear that yet? Met with some folks yesterday in Augusta to talk about our plan...We really need to police ourselves as much as possible right now and .....Money is going to be key!

dthere was an article this month in the northwoods sporting journal about the quimbys picking a side. Dont let them fool ya if they side wish us its becuase of there own personal interest and think they could persuade us into votes for there park they want in the future.

I went to the Ted nugent concert Monday night in Portland and he told everyone there to support bear hunting in rhe state with hounds and bait and for trapping rights also
