Maine Black Bear Hunting

Experiance a Maine tradtion by hunting the elusive Black Bear in Maine. Our bears range in size from the average 150 lbs. bear to our most recently harvest of bears tipping scales at over 500 lbs. These are private based hunts and we focus on personel one on one or two hunter's. You won't be just a number at some burnt out outfitter we use top of the line equipment utilizeing trail cameras and comfortable treestands as well as ground blinds to help insure a ethical shot. For those who are up for a tad bit more adventure after bait hunting ends, we pursue bears with our home grown pack of bear hounds we hunt our hounds regularly in both Maine and West Virgina giveing our dogs more experiance than most bear dogs in our state giveing you the hunter the upmost success at tagging your bruin. Hound hunting is physically demanding but with some moderate exercise befor your hunt it'll be much more enjoyable.

We Had an outstanding bear season in 2013, out of 8 hunters we harvested 7 bears with multiple bears being seen both while bait hunting as well as with the dogs. several of our customers harvested some really nice bears the following list is weights and hunters names
James harvested a nice bear opening day of dog season weight 230lbs
Jeff and Bruce both harvested a 400 lber with the dogs and passed on several others that week.

Price for 2014 season is $ 2000 a week lodging, guide service, and game recover as well as guaranteed active bait sites. Ground blinds as well as tree stands at every bait site we bait a full 30 days befor the opening of the season every day to insure the best quality hunts for out customers.

Dog hunts include guide service, lodging, recover of downed game skinning and quartering if need be and transportation the entire time. Price is $2,500 a week
